Jessie Cave is about to become the envy of teenage girls all over the globe. The 20-year-old actress beat 7,000 other auditioners (?) to the role of Ron Weasley's girlfriend Lavender Brown in the forthcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. "It was a bit embarrassing. Our first screen kiss was on my third day of shooting." says Jessie. "It's been an amazing experience though. I've been completely immersed in the Harry Potter world since filming started last year." Not content with just starring in one of the biggest film franchises of the century, the former art student is also working on publishing a book of her illustrations.

Hello everyone!! I finally put the new layout up!! Do you guys like it? I hope you do! As we [very slowly] approach the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince where we will see Jessie as Lavender Brown it was time to make some changes here at Jessie Cave Fan. The whole site has been revamped with a new organization and new sections for you to enjoy! There's a new section where you will find some fun stuff but it still needs a bit of retouching =P despite the fans section and the video archive, everything is pretty much done and ready to read/look/enjoy! Summerhill's First Episode // Onscreen kiss

Thanks to Anna for letting us know that Jessie already had her Onscreen kiss in Summerhill! This is what she says.OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, , i've just watch summerhill and i thought jessie was very good. Although it's only the first episode, she definitely doesn't look 20! i think she'll do great in HBP! there was this scene where she was snogging a guy!she seems like a really good kisser!LOL did'nt expect that for a childrens programe!!! so she will have had experience for kissing rupert, so no worries for me! lolAwesome, right? If you haven't caught it yet, you can still view the First Episode again on January 23rd, 2008 at 4:30pm on BBC1! Episode 2 will premiere tomorrow at 6pm on CBBC.
